I began private teaching in 1998, both at home and in a local independent prep school.  I have been working for Gloucestershire Music since 2000 through which I have had the opportunity to work in many different schools, working instrumentally with groups ranging from one to thirty pupils.

My continuing professional development has included the staff training offered by Gloucestershire Music and independent courses such as the CT.ABRSM refresher course, group leadership workshops and attending music courses through the schools holidays both as a participant and leader.

My main qualifications are in Primary education but I am happy to work with students of all ages from as soon as the youngest have grown their second (adult) teeth to when the more senior are starting to lose them again!
